It has great food at a great price, the service is good. Seems underrated but it is well worth giving it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Im not being sarcastic
The outside may seem deceiving but OMG! The inside is absolutely adorable. It really is dedicated to SHIP sports (except you should add some FH PICTURES!! On the walls.) Its cozy and perfect place to get a cheap breakfast. The French toast is one of a kind. My boyfriend and I made it a tradition to walk over to the HOP every Sunday morning to get the french toast. Its worth going!

Good Enough for Comapny
I've been to The Hop many times. Sometimes they are really busy and the service is a little slower than at other times. It's understandable. Whenever I have friends or family in from out of town, this is where I bring them for breakfast. I just can't find another place in town that offers so much for so little and tastes as good. They have, without a doubt, the best coffee in town.

So So
I wish i could choose the neutral view for restaurants. The hop is a nice place to go to on a saturday or sunday morning with some friends. It is small inside so its kind of cramped when your there and its usually packed. The waitresses are friendly but the service is SO slow. I am a cook at friendlys and know how to do breakfast, lunch and dinner and it doesnt take 25 minutes to make pancakes and eggs when they have 3 or 4 people in the kitchen. I also dont like how they dont put the total on your check, just list everything but dont tally everything up, i dont know why they do it like this. Also, they are only open till 1 or 2 and there is usually not much parking. Overall, its really good food but its usually a good wait.

Great Food
The Hop is really good, and has a fantastic feel to it. It's got that hommy, dinner atmosphere that makes the place great. The food is really good too, and it beats any place on campus. It's well worth the wait to get a table, and the walk.

F that place
The Hop is overrated. I don't think the food is any better than B&A and B&A is open whenever I feel like going there. Who wants to get up early and go to a beat place like the Hop? The prices kinda suck and the food really isn't that great. Plus, theres usually a good bit of old people mucking around there and who wants to look at old people?

overall excellent
The food is extremely cheap and fast. The service is great, everytime i took a sip from my coffee the waitress filled my cup back up. They were friendly too, you dont find many friendly people around here. Overall, great food(especially breakfast), great prices, and great service.

Feels like home and tastes like home
This is a small town diner where all of the waitresses know the customers. It feels like home, and tastes like home. Just don't order bacon. It is my favorite breakfast food, but not from here. Everything else is wonderful and I always get at least 2 breakfast meals and 2 drinks and my meal is about $9 total. Wonderful!

Cold and burned
I've eaten there twice. The waitresses were friendly and the food arrived quickly but once my food was barely warm and the other time my omlete was burned. They have alot of omletes and pancakes but the prices aren't the best. They're close to school but not worth the trip.

I think their food is fantastic. Try the chocolate chip pancakes and coffee with sausage.
