If you're looking for an easy prof for BOC, I'd take her. I am horrible with giving speeches, but I did well out the outlines, and she also gives about 3 exams, maybe 2 quizzes. I can't quite remember. They're very easy though. Each exam should require no more than 30 minutes of study time. She gives about 5 points of extra credit as well. She's somewhat annoying and very unorganized, but she is nice and it's an easy grade.

This class was the easiest period. She cancels class often and does not give hard assignments. She does talk to you like a child, but hey...I'd deal with it because she is an easy and nice prof. She's a little out-there but it makes for interesting classes. Take her if you want the easiest A ever. Nothing like a GPA booster to make ya feel warm inside.

Prof. Armitage is a nice person, she always tries to have conversation with you before class starts, and really understands how nervous you can get, so she makes you feel comfortable with the rest of your class. She said she was the hardest grader of all the speech profs. but somehow I ended up with an A. She graded somewhat hard, but gave a bunch of bonus, and everyone was surprised to see their grades a lot higher than expected. She missed a few days here and there which was nice for a break, and is also flexible with due dates for her projects. Our class had it good because we ran out of time to do our 8-10 minute speech, so instead we did a 2 minute infomercial which she graded really easy. She isn't as bad as she makes herself out to be, and I'd definitely take her again for anything!

OK so you have to do 4 papers w/ no final. Deffinitely work on your papers and have rough drafts on time. If you take time to stop by her office she will help you as much as you need. She is very nice so take advantage of her help.

After finishing this class for the year, I noticed there was a problem with my final grade. When I returned to campus and tryed to get hold of her, she was never around. Her schedule did not correspond with my schedule and she was not willing to work with me. I gave her my extension number in order to contact me and she did. At 7:00 in the morning! If you have a problem with your grade don't expect to get hold of her. To this day I haven't succeeded. Just a warning.

This class is fine and dandy, if you like being treated like your in elementary school. I personally don't feel like I should be taught to speak in public by a teacher that can't pronounce basic words correctly, speaks veryyyyyyy slowly, and says "uhmmmm".

She's a nice person... I suppose she's fine if you don't mind being talked to like a 4 year old.

She is a really nice lady and always talks about fun stuff before class. She is kinda a tough grader on speeches and ALWAYS talks about ice skating and sewing. I'd take her if I were you b/c I have heard some horror stories about the other BOC profs

She tended to not be in class, but also was very lenient with due dates.
