Dr. Kungl's class was everything you could want for a writing class. She genuinely cared for her students and I noticed that she went out of her way to help others who were struggling with this basic course. If you invest the time to do the readings you should have no problems. She has a very positive personality, and you donít need to be afraid to express your own thoughts in your writing. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Kungl is awesome. She's a true academic, very nice, and even a bit quirky. Her classes do take quite a bit of effort, but having her as a prof makes it well worth the while.

Simply one of the best and most upbeat professors I've ever had here at Ship. She is extremely intelligent and possesses a personality that you cannot help but like. She puts great emphasis on your own personal ideas and thoughts in your work, but she doesn't grade your work nearly as harshly as other english profs do. She is DEFINITELY worth taking, if given the chance.

Dr. Kungl is one of my favorite profs at Ship. She is laid back, highly intelligent, and easily relatable. Class wasn't lectures but more of a discussion and that kept things interesting and more meaningful. Dr. Kungl is as great of a person as she is a prof.

Prof. Kungl is a very nice lady and her class is generally easy. One thing I noticed is she is VERY smart so when she writes her prompts they sometimes have too much detail and can talk over us. But she is a good teacher you should take her for college writing.

Dr. Kungl should bottle up her energy and enthusiasm and sell it! She has a great attitude, and you know she loves to teach. The class was enjoyable, and I learned a lot of new software. We were graded on several memos and projects, the biggest of which was our website proposal and building of the site. Dr. Kungl is very knowledgable, and ready to share this with you. Take her!

this class is too easy... as long as u can read, u`ll be fine. attendence is mandatory, but just showing up and reading the stories (they usually arent more than 7 pages) will help come test time. quizes are a joke, and she drops your lowest score at the end of the semester. can be a bit boring if u arent into the story or dont get a big hard-on from symbolism, but overall the class is simple, just 1 paper to write, and u choose the topic. if u can, take this class!

She's a very good prof and she makes the class about as interesting as reading short stories can be. You have to write a journal for every story you read and you have to read for every class but its not that bad. The journals only get collected twice all semester, so you can just wait til the last second to do them all. You get some pop quizzes but she throws out your lowest grade. One easy, short research paper, an easy midterm and final. Definitely recommended not just cause the class was easy but she made it interesting and was always there to help.

Kungl rules. I'm glad i took her tech writing class in the summer. I hear people complaining about the other profs who teach it this fall semester. She's a very good teacher. If you have to take tech writing, take it with her. She's nice, and she knows her stuff too. Her comments on your rough drafts are very helpfull. Kungl is one of the best teachers i've had in any subject.

She came into the class the first day all excited to start teaching class. She really enjoyed her job, and she made you like what you were doing even if you didn't particularly enjoy reading. There wasn't that much work to do, but lots of discussion, so you should read your books, because participation is important, and she chooses good books too.

She teaches both technical writing I and II. I have taken her for both. She is an amazing teacher who truly wants to see her students succeed. She is young, hip and energetic and all of this comes out in her teaching style. She is in tune with what college students want and need from a class. If you have any free electives, I strongly recommend taking both of these courses. If you are in the English major or Comm/Journalism, i strongly suggest taking these classes because you will learn things that you can actually use in the real world!

Dr. Kungl is a really nice, easygoing woman. As long as you do your Reading Logs and come to class you'll be fine. She assigns 4 papers...all easy. She's always around to help, too. A little weird at times, but I would definitely recommend her!

She is very willing to answer all questions and she really listened to what you had to say..whether it was right or wrong. She is a bit eccentric but she is a great prof. Do the journals and actually read the stories and you'll get an A no doubt. She places a lot of emphasis on participation but if you raise your hand every now and then you're good to go.

Dr. Kungl is overall a good teacher but she never posts grades on D2L so you never really know where you stand in the class. It is difficult, she also will sometimes not show up for her office hours and that is painful. A slow grader and a difficult tester, but she is nice and presents the information is a way that students are understand.

she wasnt that bad of a prof. sometimes i thought her classes were really boring- but that was mostly b/c i didnt read the stories. basically if you do all the work when its assigned then youre good to go and it saves time when she gives the midterm and final. the papers werent that bad to write either. the journals were a pain in the ass, but you could actually write them after class based on your notes. and then you'll get a better grade for them when she grades. she normally gives like a weeks' notice before she collects them.
