Myers is not a bad teacher. She is really nice and while the material is hard she does pretty much spell out the tests. You do need do homework and study to understand but she is very nice and will explain anything when asked!! She tries to be funny sometimes which is comical in itself. Computer projects aren't too bad and if you are lucky she'll forget to take the answers offline beforehand. I'd recommend her.

Her class is hard but if you are willing to study, it is not too bad. The first few weeks of the course were really hard but they seemed to get easier. I also think that she curved the final grade a little bit.

Dr Myers is the best accounting teacher I've had so far. She actually teaches and she goes at a pace so that you can understand what is going on. She assigns problems every night, but goes over them the next class and bases your exams on these problems. Quizes (drops your lowest score) and Excel projects are easy and a good opportunity to raise your grade. She is very friendly and willing to help you out!

Okay, so you know that she is the department chair and expect her to be hard. But her goal is to see how fast she can talk during class, so that she can cover the most material. It's almost impossible to take the proper amount of notes in her class. However, if you have a lot of time to devote to studying for the exams they are not that bad. There are better accounting electives to take.

She is a decent prof, but gives out a lot of work. Her exams are challenging, but she is willing to work with you. She also requires students to hand in their entire portfolio at the end of the semester (all the homework, all the class assignments, and all the notes)
