He is an excellent professor. I hate economics and I had a really tough time in the Principles class. But the way he teaches, I really understood. All you have to do is attend class! There are only 3 exams that are just on class notes and he likes to curve! He wants you to pass. He is very lively and never boring. He tells jokes at the beginning of class! All around a great professor!

Great prof- fun guy and really explains econ so you can understand it. Dont buy the book- I didn't and I have an A. His tests are straight from the notes in class. Go to class and participate and you will do well.

Okay, sooo I def. am not an economics person and hate everything with economics. But the comments I read on here made me take this prof in the fall and I'm glad that I did. Macro isn't that fun of a subject... however, posatko makes it bearable and interesting, and tries to relate the topics with things that college kids are interested in. I looked forward to the beginning of class just for the jokes even though I didn't understand all of them. I was kind of sad on the days he didn't have any. The tests weren't that hard... there were 3... I didn't even bother buying the book and passed with a B & never talked in class. Could have gotten a higher grade if I studied more. But if you HAVE to take macro try to take him I recommend it!!!!!

Dr. Posatko is so funny. He has lots of energy and loves class participation (be his favorite section and he'll give you perks). He explains everything and brings it down to a level anyone could understand. Highly recommend him!

Economics sucks, BUT Posatko made things make sense and related the material to real world stuff. There were 3 tests in his class, but the material was taken directly from the notes. I recommend not buying the book! Just study the notes, also he does not take attendance, but if you want a decent grade go to class... Posatko makes econ. bearable!

Professor Posatko is the best professor I've ever had. He is very thorough in his lecture and doesn't try to trick you on his test. Everything is very straight-forward. He jokes and swears in class. Really laid back. All around great professor

Economics...you either get it or you don't! However, Dr. Posatko was truly very good at teaching it to us in a friendly, humorous way. His jokes are so corny that they're funny and his analogies in class are comical also...many references to alcohol and bars. The one down side was that the entire grade consists of three tests...that's it! Each counts as 33.33% of your grade...so study your ass off if you wish to keep your GPA high. Other than that, I seriously doubt if any other professors here could be as cool as Dr. Bob about economics. Take him-it's worth it.

His test are very straightforward... they come straight from the material taught in class. If you get the notes you should be all right. He doesnt take attendance and curves his tests slightly.

Dr. Posastko really does allow macroeconomics to be a somewhat enjoyable class. This is not the only econ class i have taken, but Posatko is by far the best econ prof. Three tests, no papers, no attendence requires but tests are based completly on the notes so its good to have a friend or two in the class to take turng attending. overall great guy!

Well there isn't much one can say about macroeconomics...face it, it's boring. But Posatko tries his best to liven up the class. His jokes are extremely corny, but he tries. You don't really need to read the text, but you definitely need the notes. The tests are pretty difficult and you certainly need to study, but they aren't impossible. There are only three tests so try your hardest not to mess them up. He's also a really nice guy. You probably won't find anyone better for a course like this, so take him.

This guy is always telling jokes in class. He talks about the economics of beer companies and stuff. He's hilarious. For this class you have 4 tests (each of which he curves by a few points) and no homework or quizzes or anything. It's really a fun class and it's easy too.

He's a funny guy. He goes slow with the material and makes it as simple as possible. Tests aren't bad. Take him. Best prof for econ.

He tries to liven the class up with silly jokes. And even though it may not always work, you can tell that he's a good natured person. Economics is one of those subject that... either you get it, or you don't. And even if you don't, Dr. Posatko will do his best to help you understand. There are three tests you take in his class. That's it. No mess, no fuss. He curves too, which further helps those who might have trouble understanding why the supply and demand curves do this funky thing or that crazy thing.

I loved this guy. He does his best to add humor to the class but be ready for some pretty dry stuff. He is a good instructor who doesn't move to quickly to make sure students don't get lost. He's a nice guy and he does his best to keep the class fun. If you have the chance, take him.

I took Dr. Posatko for the new, 4-creit combined marco/micro econ class. He insisted on writing all of the notes(and there is a lot) on the board. You had to write them as he said them though because his hand writing was unreadable. I had to suffer through an hour and fifteen mintues of it every day and i was bored out of my mind. He only gives 4 tests but most of their questions seem to have 2 correct answers. He tries to make jokes but they are all pretty bad. The only good parts of the class were that he didn't take attendance and graded on somewhat of a curve. The macro section was definitly easier than the micro sections.

Dr. Posatko's class will be very hard if you do not study. You do not receive any credit in this class other than the 4 exams he gives. The exams (even if you do study) are very hard. Since this is a lecture course many students skip and just copy notes..but it is harder to understand the material by someone else's notes. He goes over the material in depth in class so that you understand...the book is very hard to follow so I advise you make it to every class. Dont take this class if you have a tendency to skip or study little
