The class was easy. He puts the powerpoints online for you to print out. As long as you look over the powerpoints you will easily pass the test. The tests are basically right from the powerpoints. He gives good extra credit points too.

I really liked Dr. Tomer's class. He does power points every class, and you have to study for his quizzes and tests. He also takes attendance every class, but overall he gives a lot of extra credit opportunities and if you study you'll be fine.

Dr. Tomer is a compassionate older gentlemen who is a joy to be around. A lot of the things he says are humorous, even if he didn't really intend them to be. He uses a variety of PowerPoint presentations in class, but all of them are available online so students never really have to take notes. He also gives study guides before each exam, which makes it a lot easier to succeed. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Tomer for an enjoyable learning experience.

Tomer is by far the sweetest guy!! Not a lot of people like to attend class cuz it can get boring but I did and it wasnt bad. He's adorable and really nice.... and his classes are really easy. I had him twice this semester and you can bring a full page of your own notes in to every exam. Definitely take him... I highly recommend him

This was the easiest class I have taken. I attended regularly at the beginning of the semester, and was able to rack up a few extra credit points before reverting to my lazy ways, skipping class and only showing up for tests. Basically, all you have to do is read the book before the exams and maybe take some notes to do well on them. The debate isn't a big deal either, mine was hastily prepared and had no visual aids and I still got a 93%. In summary, I would totally recommend taking Tomer's class. He's very sweet and you can't ever hear him when he talks, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I just want to point out that whoever made that ONE! negative comment must have been the worst student ever at Ship U, it was a good class, sometimes boring, but if you took notes and showed up for the majority of the time, you will get an A!! I didnt even like psych until I took him, great prof!

Dr. Tomer was my favorite professor last semester. His psychology class was my easiest class. He gave 3 or 4 tests, but the tests were taken straight from the notes. If you attend class, you will get an "A" in this course. He's a really great guy, and I'd definitely take him again if I could.

Dr. Tomer is an excellent Professor, and I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn a great deal of helpful information! If you take good notes, and pay attention, you will do well on the exams. He gives three tests that include multiple choice and at least 4 short answer questions, a couple of group work assignments, and a powerpoint group presentation requirement, based on a topic he covers in class. There are also at least 2 quizzes based on the Readings book. Overall, it is a lot of work, but it pays off in the end! He also had a unique way of adding humor to his class by showing us how children would act at certain stages in development. It was very cute! You are so cool Dr. T. Thanks for a fun semester! :)

This is a great teacher...hes so nice. It would seem in the beginning of class that he doesnt really know what hes doin... but he does and u will do good on his tests if u study... and its not hard stuff, mostly common sense. If u have a problem with someone he will help u out and give u a chance... Hes a very understanding person...and the only project that u have to do is a debate with a partner and its really easy...

Adrian Tomer is a great guy. He is funny, which helps keep his classes from boring. He gives notes that the tests are based on, and he gives quizzes that can only help your grade. He definitely wants his students to do well and he really loves his job. The final is just another test its not cumulative. He is a very nice guy and he is very tolerable to his students rudeness when it happens. This guy enojys what he does, and he wants his students to do well

professor tomer is not only hilarious but he is also an amazing prof. not only does he give you all the notes you will need, but he also explains every concept in depth to help you grasp it. you have quizzes in the class worth ten points that dont count unless they improve your grade. you have four tests (all chapter tests- the fourth is the final and this is also just a chapter test). he is the funniest Romanian man i've ever met. he tells jokes and some might think that his accent gets in the way but for someone who never opened a book in that class, i feel he is a great prof.

Really nice guy. The class is pretty easy. You have 4 tests and he gives you a review sheet with everything you need to know for each test. There is no homework and the only other thing is a very easy presentation that you do in a group of 2 or 3 people. There are also quizzes but they are almost always announced. It doesn't matter anyway b/c they only count if they help your grade. In other words they can't hurt your grade. Overall a great professor.

He is a little hard to understand, but he is a smart and funny teacher. The class is very informational, and it allows you to learn about your own health, which is important to me, at least. His class contains tests(3), some quizes and some homework, all of which he tells you what they are going to be about, and all of which are easy points. I would recommend him to anyone, but you should want to learn something, not just for an easy grade.

I don't want to be too harsh, because he is a sweet old man, but I don't think he should be a professor. He talks so quietly you can hardly ever hear him, every class is power points and you have 6 group projects! 6! They are all pointless, you learn nothing and it's just a hassle. Plus the fact that you don't really learn much in the class as a whole, he never says anything in class other than whats on the powerpoints but you are graded on attendance. It's a fairly easy class, but I wouldn't take it in retrospect.

WOW!!! This guy is sooo boring. He drives you to skip class. His grading system is all weird and you cant hear him. His tests are hard and they repeat questions like crazy so if you get one wrong you have them all wrong. Dont take him. Hes not fun at all.

I will not say Dr. Tomer was a bad professor.... What I will say is that if you like to take notes this is the class for you. It is not a difficult class at all. All you have are about 4 tests which are multiple choice and a panel discussion that is extremely easy. The quizzes he gives (if you do well on them) are worth extra credit. If you don't know the information you will not do well on test. So if you do decide to take Tomer's class prepare to take notes and study. Oh one last thing if you have a hearing problem this is not the class for you!

Dr. Tomer is a nice guy, and he wants his students to do well. His class was not hard but he does try your patience sometimes. There were certain things in the class that I just found really irritating. He talks so low that you have to sit up front to even barely hear him. Then when you are giving a presentation he yells at you to speak up because he can't hear you. He puts up an over head full of notes for like two minutes and you get to copy down about the first two sentences and thats it, and all the tests are taken straight from the notes. So he is a nice guy but he doesn't really seem to be aware of the needs of a student during lecture.
