If you show up to class and participate you will get at least a B. I've had better and I've had worse. However, do not be afraid to take her. She likes to have fun.

This class is all about participating. All she wants from you is to try. She gives two exams and quizzes which are bonus points towards your exams. She also wants you to attend spanish activities around campus. You can also watch a movie for this part of the course as well. All in all, great prof, funny personality, and you will receive a good grade if you just go to class and participate.

I really like Morana. She is a great prof and she knows what shes doing.
If you really try, participate, do hw and talk to her she'll pass you.
In 102 some of the stuff started to get hard (preterite and imperfect) and I tried really hard to understand it and even though I didn't do the best on tests, I somehow got an a-
She pretty much gave me a good grade cause she knew I tried and whatnot.
Take her if you're willing to put in some effort. Nice woman, and very helpful.

Dr. Morana is an awesome prof and her class was very easy. She gives a lot of extra credit and every vocab quiz counts as extra credit on your tests. The only homework was Quia, the online workbook that comes with your textbook, and she assigned it way in advance before it was due, so you have plenty of time to get it done. There are 3 tests, they are difficult, but she grades them very lightly, and gives you points just for answering the question. Dr Morana is a very good prof, but I only gave a 2 for effectiveness, because I still do not understand or speak spanish and I do not remember any spanish from class.

The first impression I got from Dr. MoraNa was... mean! My Spanish was decent, but I wondered how the rest of the class was going to survive. She turned out to be warm and caring. I learned a lot in her class, not only about Mexican cinema, but about improving my writing skills. At the end of the class we had to do a 10pg paper. I was surprised that I was able to crank all that up, and about how much her comments helped me. So, let her bark (like perro)the first day class, but stretch your hand and let her get to know you.

Morana is one of the funniest profs at Ship. You will constantly be laughing in her class. Her classes are fun and she is an effective teacher. Her tests are straight forward and she is good with grading. Your final grade is not made up of only her tests, so even if you do bad on the tests you will still pass her class. She knows that a lot of students are taking spanish because they HAVE to not because they want to.

She is great. She takes the time to explain things if you're not a slacker. She hates people who don't pay attention, don't turn in work, and don't come to class which makes sense because why are you in college if youre not going to do those things. She will not hold your hand, but is available to help and is always willing. She's late to class and forgetful sometimes and gets distracted with things easily. She's a great prof, iff youre willing to do your share of the work.

Dr. Morana's class was so easy. I could have gotten an A in her class if I hand't slacked off. For anyone who has had high school spanish like I have it is impossible for you to fail. She tells you exactly what to study before tests and the tests are a piece of cake. The are mostly fill in the blanks.

Dr. Morana is a very good teacher, and she cares a great deal about the success of her students! We covered all of the book material that was left over after Spanish I and II, completing the rest of the chapters. There are workbook assignments and a lab book to complete. We also had to do a 10 minute oral presentation in spanish, which she let us do in her office if we felt uncomfortable doing it in class. There was also a one page essay required and she will correct a rough draft for you, so you are almost guaranteed an A if you turn it in to her for corrections. Dr. Morana was very funny sometimes, and also very patient with some of the class members who played around a little too much at times. I would highly recommend this Prof. for Spanish III! Thank-you for a wonderful, fun class Dr. Morana!

At first, Dr. Morana is a bit intimidating, but as it turns out she's quite funny. Stickler for attendance, so if you don't plan on going much, don't take her. She reviews the content of her tests the class period before, and the exams are cake (mostly multiple choice and word banks). Oral and written composition are also fairly easy (she only wants one page). Compared to others, I'd say she's the best.

Dr. Morana is a must-take teacher. When you first get to her class it's scary. I was terrified, and sat about halfway back in the class even though I usually choose the front. But after about a week you realize that she's the best teacher ever! You learn a lot in her class and she expects attendance and work, but it's worth it. You won't just be pushed through the spanish system, you will actually learn some spanish. Her 103 class is harder than 202. In 202 we talk and watch movies mostly. Its great.

This professor is the worst ever!!! She yells at you in class, calls you out, and is not a good teacher. I didn't learn anything in this class and ended up with a low grade even though I have A's in all my other classes. The kids that sat around me also hated her, so it wasn't just me. Her exams are awful and you never know what to expect and for her oral exams they can not be scripted, AT ALL!! I don't even understand how she still has a job. Literally the DEVIL!!!

I don't know how anyone gives her a positive comment. If you have to take 103, you're not going to be even remotely prepared. The class is a complete joke, everyone I know had to go to the learning center for tutoring to understand anything because she never teaches. She gives you busy work in class while she stands there, then she forgets what she assigns and rushes in the last 5 minutes of class to go over it, and doesn't answer questions very well at all. She may give you a good grade if you just show up and try but the class is a huge waste of time and she's the worst teacher I have ever had at Shippensburg.

I HATED this class! Avoid if possible! Morana yells when she talks due to the huge language barrier. She thinks she can get things across better if she yells at her students instead of speaking normally. She teaches out of the book, I mean literally reads from the book and makes us follow along.

This class wasn't bad, she was a fair teacher. The tests were hard and they were all essays, so you had to study. There was a presentation and a final paper that we're not too tough.

THERE WILL BE A LANGUAGE BARRIER IF YOU TAKE HER! How can she teach Spanish to American Students when she can't speak English to teach Spanish. Its hard to understand what she is teaching bc she has a strong accent. She's not hard but its very diffcult to get past the langauge barrier. Also, she thinks she's all of that and a bag of chips.
