He is probably one of the nicest professors I've ever had. I had stats in high school, so the class was pretty easy. The tests are easy too, and mostly multiple choice. He's really understanding when it comes to missing classes, if you tell him. I skipped a class for a concert and he let me take the quiz we had that day early. If you do the homework and the vocab, you'll do well, he collects them and doesn't grade them. The final was probably the easiest test of the year. Definitely take him!

I had McNaughton when I was a 2nd semester freshman and completely terrified of the math requirement. I didn't do too well in the beginning of the semester, but with some help and better studying (it is possible to study for math) I got a B in the class. He was available whenever anyone was in need of help and he came in on Tuesdays nights for a study group. Vocab tests were simple if you studied as well as the tests. The best part was the final: it was completely comprised of questions from previous tests and problems we did in class. I definitely recommend this prof for any future math class you have, not only is he extremely helpful, but he actually cares about the students.

Dr. McNaughton is a safe choice for statistics. If you do the reading he assigns for every class, you should be able to understand the things you need to understand. There are a few vocab quizzes with word banks. The tests are primarily multiple choice.
I'm a terrible student at math who doesn't often study and I still came out of this class with a decent grade. A very good professor to have.

He is probably the sweetest professor I've had. I skipped class so many times because it was a waste of time. He would e-mail me almost every week letting me know when we would have a quiz or a test so I would know when to come to class. If you aren't able to make a class he's very understanding and lets you make it up anytime that is good for you. I had already taken Statistics, so the tests and quizzes were very easy. Quizzes are all vocabulary and the tests are mostly multiple choice.
