I really have no idea what those negative comments are about. Martin is a really good prof if you pay attention and follow what is going on. You can never find her, but you need to understand, she's a full time teacher at Carlisle High School, she teaches kick boxing a couple nights a week, and she does something else i can't think of off the top of her head. I think she's around enough considering the circumstances. Occasionally she's a little hard to follow, but you can do something called raising your hand or just yell at her to repeat what she's doing a little slower and she'll gladly do it. I really enjoyed her class and if she taught a higher level math I would totally take her again. You have to be in class, too, because if you aren't you will be TOTALLY lost when you start going again. I don't think she'll be back next semester though because she's just an adjunct, which is too bad... oh well :)

Miss. Martin is a very nice lady. She tells jokes in class and is into what she does. BUT she doesn't know how to teach. She jumps from topic to topic and goes soooo fast! The problems we do for homework are nothing like the problems on the test. If you miss a homework you might as well not come to class anymore because homework is worth the same amount as a test! She is never EVER in her office. She says that she is always there to help but you can never find her. I wouldnt take her again if i had the chance

This woman is not a very good teacher. She is a unique individual however. She is a biker chick who will tell some funny stores. However her homework is nothing like her in class examples and she refuses to go over it. The only plus about the HW is that it is worth almost as much as her tests. Her tests are pretty easy because she grades very easy. The answwer is only worth a point or so but the work is 3 or 4. SO if you do some work and don't get the right answer it isn't a big deal. Her lectures are terrible, she goes too fast and ignores questions. If you are good at math then take this class. IF you struggle don't. Also she is never available. Her office hours are T-TH 4-5 she gets to her office at sometime around 445. Don't take this teacher.
