Easy class, not time consuming at all. I put almost no effort in. It I had put a tiny bit more effort in, I probably could have gotten an A. Fair grader and a nice lady.

This lady is something else, in a good way. Our class was focused on Native American Lit. We read three short books. Had one presentation. One group sheet, and that was it. The final was a question about one of the books and what you thought. She really is a great prof and everyone should take her for this class.

Dr. Sellers is probably one of the best professors ship has. She’s great, a bit animated but it adds to her enthusiasm of what she teaches. She is a really great teacher; my only issue was her attendance policy which is a little strict. She knows a lot and is very understanding of any personal issues you have. She’s a great prof.

Dr. Sellers was the nicest prof ever. She was very understanding when I was sick. 3 Papers, the final is a small essay because she doesnt believe in finals, so it's not worth much. We had 2 presentations, very easy A's on presentations. I am not a very good writer at all and it was not a tough class. I had a D+ on my first paper, but being understanding, she will help out on your final grades if she notices any improvement. I recommend her to EVERYBODY

You're almost sure to learn MLA formatting which is important, and she has good tone to her voice and projects, making it easy to stay awake even in early morning classes. There is group work so be aware but it isn't anything too severe. The readings that she chose were boring but digestable.

Professor Sellers was such a great prof. I learned a lot from her, especially since she reviews all the readings during classes. She grades everything fairly easy as long as you try and sound knowledgeable. The readings and papers are really not hard and niether are the tests. Definitely consider taking her.

Prof. Sellers has got to be one of the best professors you could possibly take! Her classes did not require too much work, just a reading for almost each class (which you really didn't need to read more than half the time!) You have to watch 2 movies and write reaction papers on them, but the movies are really good and make you think (Malcolm X is one of them) You also have to write reaction papers for several of the readings, but they really aren't that hard; just give your opinion of the reading and you'll be fine. The midterm and final were pretty much opinions (she actually made the final a take-home final!) Her class will really make you think about how people are percieved and treated in the world, so if you are into that kind of stuff she is definitely the prof for you! Also take her if you want a really easy english course, I would definitely take her again!!!

Although she's a bit eccentric, she's a really nice professor and she explains things well. Her 2 exams (midterm and final) are easy and our final was even a take home test. We have readings to do for every class, but usually you could get away with not reading them-we only had one pop quiz. We discuss the reading as a class, and she's really open to all opinions. The only problem is that sometimes she won't move on if people don't comment enough- so just say something half way intelligent and you'll get a good participation grade. You also have to write reaction papers which are easy; and one big paper, which isn't too bad.

Only a few papers, they are all short. The entire semester was spent discussing issues related to Mexican-Americans, so know what you are getting into. Classes are typically short, and are normally spent discussing a reading. If you can already write, the class won't require much work at all. Easy A for us writers.

Prof. Sellers made this class great. I do not like to write a lot and not having a set page limit on any paper helped. She grades fairly easly and provides good feedback on the papers. We always got out early. I recommend taking her. She does make class fun. Take her if you can.

I was a little skeptical taking this professor when I heard about the amount of papers that we had to write. The papers weren't that hard. As long as you wrote the minimum which was like 2 or three pages and that is double spaced it wasn't that bad. We did group work and had great class discussions. I never wanted to participate in class before until I had her. She was always there to help students and she always gave ways for us to improve our writing. If you want a good grade, and don't mind writing papers then I would take her class. Most of my papers I wrote the day they were due. So take he, take her.

This woman is so freakin awesome! Take her if you get the chance. Like everyone else said, you write alot, but they don't have to be long and they are not all major papers. Just be ready to write them CORRECTLY. She is gung ho on MLA. I had her for an 8 AM and it was awesome because we almost always had Fridays off. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!!

Sellers is definetely a great professor. She keeps class interesting, gives you more than enough time to complete your assignments and is a sweet lady. Bonus: she cancels class all the time and you ALWAYS get out early! Despite that, you still will learn ALOT from her!

If you like English, you will like this teacher, and not only for obvious reasons! Shes so awesome. You write alot but not all are we what think of as papers. Some are homework papers. She will give you sooooo much time to work on everything. If you can, take her. Just be ready to listen, to write, and to write correctly. Shes crazy about MLA.

Professor Sellers is so awesome. I had her for an 8 AM class, and I only missed the class twice and that was because I had gotten sick! She kept things interesting, we discussed a lot of stuff in class relating to immigrants and Puerto Ricans. We had a paper due every Monday, but she always gave us Friday class off to work on the paper, which was a minimum of one page. She's really funny and understanding about circumstances. Take her if you get the chance!!!!!

Put simply, this class is very easy. The papers are easy, and there is very few acutal homework assignments other then the papers. Professor Sellers is kind of annoying at times, but she gives you all the time in the world to do assignments. Again, this is a very easy class, so if you flow with it, you'll be fine.

If you want to take a very easy class take Professor Sellors. She is a very nice lady and she does not care how long the papers are as long as they are at least a page. You have about one paper due every week but you get off the day before the paper is due.
