I love Dr. Fisher! Not only does she keep her classes entertaining and interesting, her assignments are logical. She is always there to help you with anything, even for other classes! She is the best professor in the social work department and I plan to take her for every possible class I can in the future!!!

Dr. Fisher is the nicest lady ever. She is sometimes a tough grader but if you do your best you will do very well in this class. You learn basic stuff like trust and listening skills and play games to reinforce the lesson. For listening skills we played telephone and for trust we built an obstacle course with the desks and walked our blindfolded partner through it. This class is fun and entertaining. She definitely make boring topics fun to learn about and the games and activities you do are fun. Only one exam all semester which is the final. Mini papers are easy and keep your grade up. She also offers extra credit for just about anything. EXCELLENT PROF

Prof. Fisher is awesome! She is the coolest professor in the social work department. She explains everything in terms anyone could understand. She is very understanding and cares about her students. She is easy to talk to and don't be afraid to ask her questions b/c she will def. answer them. Work load kinda sucks in this class but she does grade very fairly!

Professor Fisher is an awesome professor... I took her for two classes (including the social worker's greatest nightmare- research methods!). She's always willing to help and listen to you if you need anything. If you can, take Fisher sometime in your social work career, or even for intro class as an elective!

Prof. Fisher was a great prof to have for an Intro to Social Work course. She is very concerned with getting to know her students and is willing to help whenever you need it. The workload and tests are not unreasonable, as long as you pay attention and apply yourself. Highly recommended!

She was one of the best profressor I have had at ship. She gives a lot of writings and projects but they are fun to do. Also, she grades fairly and is always there for you if you need help or need someone to talk to. I would take her for this class and any other class! = )

No teacher can make an intro class that exciting, but Professor Fisher does what she can to make the class fun and easy to get through. I never have a problem going to class because she makes it a point to make u feel important in the class. She is very personable and easy to talk to and joke with during class. I learned a lot during the class. definitely take her..she is great!

Professor Fisher is a good educator, I'll give her that, but she doesn't grade fairly, and she has her favorites, if you know what I mean. If you're not the lip gloss wearing, always looking cute kind of girl then she probably won't like you, guys I'm sorry but I don't know how she treats you cuz well...I'm not a guy. She needs to learn how to treat all her students the same and that some assignments don't require her opinion when grading.
