This professor is very personable and honest. It sucks that this class will only be offered for one more semester (fall2015) I recommend it over the other research requirement before its too late!

Dr. P was a very effective teacher. IF you come to class and pay attention, her exams are not difficult! She was always willing to answer questions and overall was so nice! If you put in a little effort, you will do fine in her class. And the final was very easy if you attend the review beforehand. I would take her for class again. Great professor!

There's is no one better to take for this class. She knows everything about behavior and learning, and she makes class exteremly interesting. Plus you get to train rats in her class, but no one elses. I learned so much, and really admire Dr. P. Don't miss out, take her!

This woman is amazing!! Totally worth taking. Her class is not hard, she gives you course objectives which tell you everything you need to know for the test. Finding the answers takes some time but if you put in the effort you will not get any less than an A on each exam. We haven't finished the course yet but so far it's been smooth sailing. She gives tons of extra credit, exam questions before the test, and is willing to help you with ANYTHING. I love her. She is definitely a good choice.

I absolutely loved this class. At the beginning of the semester she gives you this big intimidating packet, and in this packet are review questions for every, single test. The tests are incredibly easy. I got more than 100% on the majority of them. You'll want to be at every class though, because she doesn't announce little activities or surveys that you have to do, and...on random days she'll give you bonus points for being there-which get tacked onto your test grade. She also lets you earn bonus points by participating in out-of-class studies which get put on your final grade. She was always very excited to talk about Psych and you can see how passionate she is. It just made you want to love psych too! Take Dr. P!

Dr. P is awesome!! You have 7 tests in her class. You have an optional final. You have out of class assignments(these are really easy, only helps your grade). You take notes from a powerpoint the whole time (her class can be really boring, but she tries to make it interesting). She gives you a packet the first day of class telling you what you will need to know for tests. She is a very nice person. I would take her again!!

Potoczak is probably the smartest psychology professor I have ever met. Her classes are great! Her study guides teach you everything you need to know from the tests! TAKE HER!

She is amazing! I highly recommend taking her, all of her notes are on powerpoint and she gives a hand-out with everything that will be on the test, including specific paragraphs that you need to read out of the book so you never have to read more than half of the chapter. I guarantee that anyone with half a brain could get at least a B in this class just from the notes she puts on powerpoint though! You have one paper to write with no length requirement, a poster to make and an online exercise where you condition a virtual rat to do tricks. Her five exams were fairly easy because they were all multiple choice.

Great Prof! Her class is simple. She does a powerpoint for every class with the notes, waits while you write it down, then explains it all with examples. You do have 8 tests, including the final, but she will drop your lowest grade. She will go to great lengths to help you with your grade. She also has many extra credit opportunities.

Dr. P is a great prof. She makes classes interesting and relates the material to everyday life so that you can understand it. Her tests are very easy if you study the objectives that she gives you in the beginning of the semester. Her questions on the tests are always straightforward and she offers bonus points for just showing up to class on the day before the test. She has one big group project that is a big deal in which you have to have a 15 page paper with it, but it is bearable. Oh yeah and she even lets you drop your lowest exam score. Take this prof if you can, you will not regret it.

By far the greatest experience ever! Class was pleasent, a tad boring because all of the notes are on powerpoint, yet she will make it tolerable. Moreover, the notes are to the point and will ALWAYS show up on the tests later -- so they are not pointless like so many other professors. She gives you an Objective Guide/Study Packet -- learn this and you know the test = 1 hour of studying per test == guaranteed B+ or better! All the tests are multiple choice (50 questions). You even get to drop your lowest test grade. She offers bonus points every test (7 tests total). I simply can't say enough good things about this class. If you have to psych., you need this teacher.
