She is very organized and sticks to her schedule. If you are very good at organizing your time and sticking to a schedule this class will be a cake walk. She is a very sweet lady and truly enjoys what she does. She has two presentations and it is very hard to get an A on both of them but it is possible. Her exams are very straight from the material she covers and does not try to trick anyone. If you feel you were tricked she will review the question and may give back points. Very understanding and will always help you if you need it!

By far one of my favorite profs for our major. You must take notes in this class and study them if you expect to do well- write down definitions she gives, reading isn't vital but sometimes she puts in questions from the book so skimming could help.

She is the best professor ever. She's a sweet lady from the south... she's funny, nice, always willing to help. I wish there were more teachers like her. The tests and quizzes are all take home and open book. Some portions are done with your groups. There's only 2 six minute speeches and she gives you her rubric on how to give a good speech.

I absolutely loved Dr. Knight. I would take her again for any class. I recommended her to all of my friends that still need intro human comm. Her lectures are interesting. All of the tests, including the final, are take home. You have groups but there isn't too much you have to do with them outside of class. You have some papers you have to write but they are not hard and are not graded too difficultly. Take Dr. Knight.. period.

Dr. Knight is a great prof. to take for human comm. All of her exams are take home (though they do take a while to complete), we only had two speeches and a group presentation. There were 3 smaller assignments that she assigned which were so easy. She is such a nice person who is always willing to help out students. You start each class with the question of the day, which was a great way to break the ice. I highly recommend you take her!

She is a very good professor, funny too. Shes very laid back. You start off each class by answering a question. You go around the room and each person stands up and answers it (usually like...what did you eat for breakfast). Its her way of taking attendance. I HATE public speaking with a passion, but the speeches you give really arent that bad. You only give 2, an informative and a persuasive. The informative has to be around 4 minutes and the persuasive cant be any longer than 6 minutes or something. Youre allowed to use a note card too so it isnt that bad. Her tests were moderately hard. Its scantron, but theyre easy to take if you study.

She used to be on the radio as a radio disc jockey, so right there tells you how cool she is. Anyways, I barely put forth any effort and got away with high B's and a few low A's. This is without trying. Furthermore, she's new to the department so she's going to start out pretty simple anyway. Her notes are practically the exam which there are 3 of. NO FINAL! Also, her preliminary outlines that she assigns for the 2 speeches are too detailed. But, thats the only bad part of this class. You don't even have to read the book. Just read the chapter reviews and highlighted terms inside of it. Great prof, I wouldn't take anyone else.

Dr. Knight really knows her subject and she is a phenominal teacher. She is funny and engaging and keeps you interested in a subject that might otherwise be boring. She is very caring and it is obvious that her students' success is her top priority. She is one of the few professors who seem as if they genuinely care about their students. If you are ill and miss a class or even an exam, you can just explain it to her and she is very understanding and more than willing to help you catch back up. And she doesn't make it seem like a crime that you were sick once in the semester and simply couldn't make it to class. She is a professor you can really count on to be there and help you in any way possible. Frankly, I was very impressed with her and found her class enjoyable.

Her class is neither hard or easy. The tests are all multiple choice and she's very nice when grading presentations.
