Dr. Lehman is a cool lady. She isn't going to give you that 'aha' feeling, but she gets her point across. I found the subject matter to be pretty boring, but I stayed awake every class! Tests are based heavily on procedures and memorizing genre of bacteria. She can be picky on tests, taking off 1/4 points here and there, but she's really pleasant. ~3 small lab quizzes, a giant lab report, 2 tests and a final. 92-100 is an A.

Dr. Lehman is passionate about her subject. The subject matter is not difficult, but is very heavy and it requires a lot of memorization. However through Dr. Lehmanís stories and her enthusiastic teaching style, the class is easy to sit through. The labs are a lot of fun, but they do take a lot of concentration and background reading to understand. So basically, if you work hard and have a general interest in biology, you wonít have a problem and Dr. Lehman may easily become one of your favorite teachers.

Dr. Lehman is a fun professor. She tells funny stories about how scary microscopic organisms are. She is the most helpful prof I have ever had in a bio lab. She will answer your questions just by the confused look on your face.

Dr. Lehman is a great person, but I feel like the class could have been slightly more effective if it wasn't so "fast and furious." I understand for introductory courses such as Microbiology, you have to suck it up and cover a lot of material, but it seems like a hell of lot of material was being covered in hardly any class time at all. All in all, I think the class was tough, but doable as long as you put a lot of time into it. I wish there would have been more material besides the book referenced to learn the material. If I could do it all over again, I would still take this class. Dr. Lehman was always there if you needed her help with anything in regards to the class, and she definitely wanted you to LEARN the material, not just memorize it. Fabulous professor, tough material.

I loved going to her class. She is an extremely nice lady. All the notes are on blackboard. She takes attendance about twice a week and its random. You have about 7 quizzes and 4 exams. The exams are pretty tough and they cover a lot of material, but as long as you take the time to study you'll do great. One group project that is EASY too!! Take her!

Her class is so boring! Bring a pillow because you will sleep, she puts everything on powerpoint and just reviews all class about that. Attendance is at least 2 times a week randomly, which sucks because you get points for being there when you really wanna skip. Her tests are so hard, multiple choice but 6 answers to each question and very detailed questions. Don't take her unless its your major!

Dr. Lehman talks quite a bit. But she explains things well, and knows how to lighten up. She helps you with anything you need. I took a seminar class, so there was this huge project we needed to present to the rest of the class. She is pretty tough, but a fair grader. I wouldn't mind having her in another class.
