I have had Dr. Chrisman many times over the past few years. He makes you collect a book of articles, many find this pointless but once you start teaching and need the articles you will be glad you have them. I have used them over the past few years. If you have the chance take him he is very knowledgeable and helpful!

Where to start...This was by far the easiest class I took all semester! He canceled our class EVERY Friday! We rarely had quizzes and when we did he didn't even GRADE them just checked to see that you wrote an answer down. He makes you do a stupid portfolio of ideas that is more a waste of time than anything else. It was a joke and I didnt learn anything. If you want an easy A and nothing else, this is the guy for you!

He is so easy and so nice. He has lots of good info to give out and his class is cake. He knows that you have a bunch of other classes and doenst assign a lot of things. Plus the assignments he does assign are cake and are applicable. TAKE HIM FOR ANYTHING HE TEACHES!!!!

Subject: Did not learn that much  (Dec 28 2006, 09:30PM)

I am not an early childhood minor, so I may be biased, but I just do not feel like I got much out of this class. Perhaps I didn't put enough time into it, but the lectures and assignments did not seem to teach me a lot. First off, he grades EXTREMELY easy, so if that's what you are looking for, stop here. He also isn't very demanding and he cancels class all the time. However, I feel that in my education classes I want at least some sort of a challenge....if you are taking a big course load, or have a bunch of hard classes, take him, but if not, take another class.
