Dao's intro to bcs class is extremely easy as long as you do the work. All the assignments are given step by step and completing them does not take that long. The powerpoint is a pretty easy project. I didn't pay attention in class and only quickly skimmed the key words in the book before tests. As long as you do the work and put some effort into the class, it should be an easy A

He is by far the teacher with the weirdest awkward style of teaching. You don't learn much in class, but if you have a real basic knowledge of computers and how microsoft office works, you will be able to get at-least a B. The tests aren't hard, typically homework every week or every other week, but it doesn't take more then an hour if you understand computers. Class typically results in you laughing at how awkward he makes the classroom. If you get him, I have a fun game for you. Count how many times he says "right" in a lecture. But despite all of this, it's a really easy class and easy grade

Dr. Dao was alright. I understood what he taught us for the most part. I felt like he didn't give enough points in the class and his tests were pretty difficult. I know for me it was hard to concentrate on what he was lecturing about because there was a computer right in front of me....so I'd go on facebook. haha So I mean if you can FOCUS then you will do fine in the class. Make sure to do all the extra credit he offers because you'll probably need it at the end.

This is possibly the worst class that I have ever taken. He lectures the whole time and then blows through assignments whether you understand it or not. Also it doesnt help that he speaks poor english. If you dont have to take him dont do it.

He was not a good teacher. He just lectured the whole class and you can't understand anything he says. He didn't even hand out a sylabus. You have to go out and get it by yourself. When he teaches how to use the different programs, he goes so fast that you can't keep up with him. Then his assignments are very hard to do and he grades very strictly. If you go to his office for help, he is very rude and does not help you. He expects you to be able to do everything without any instruction. The class wouldn't be so bad if I had another teacher. Do not take Dao.

ISM142 is a required course, if I you have the option. I would not choose Dao. His accent is hard to understand, he gives assignments without teaching the information first, he never returns a single test or quiz so you have no idea as to why you missed points. He gives the grading scheme for your Word/Access/Excel assignments but that doesn't let you know where you lost points! He moves quickly, so try to keep up! I purchased two books for him at the beginning of the semester, one we used ONCE. Be prepared to study alot, and hard if you take this professor.

He is knowledgeable on the subjects he teaches, but does not seem too intelligent outside of that; it makes me wonder how he earned his doctorate. His class covers an extremely boring subject matter, and he makes the mistake of thinking anybody in the class gives a sh*t about things like how to use Microsoft Access. Boring class, boring guy, speaks poor English with a heavy accent, makes assignments which are a huge pain in the ass worth very small amounts of points. He could be a nice guy, but as far as I'm concerned he was a lousy teacher. []

Dr. Dao is probably the worst professor that I have this semester. His accent is hard to understand which doesn't help because the material is also difficult. His assignments are in-depth so be prepared to get a tutor or spend your whole life doing ISM142 assignments! I don't mind the course, but I don't recommend taking it with him because you will probably be in danger of failing. He also never hands any assignments/exams so you don't know why you got the grade you got. He is also very rude. I have tried to ask a question and he either refuses to answer it or can be really mean about it. Avoid taking this professor at all costs!

Class is boring. You have a ton of out of class projects due that you have to hand in online. There are 3 or 4 exams that are pretty hard. All m/c. Not too bad.

Although he's a little hard to understand, he'll pretty much give you the answers to all of his assignments. Really really really boring class though. The tests are killers.
