I do not understand how you can get lower than a B in this class. You get 20 "extra" points just for sitting there! Another 2 points for going to club presentations, another 5 points for completing both the pre and post-test, and completing your final project's rough draft a month in advance will get you a plus 3! Did not waste too much of my time, very easy. Look forward to three exams on 2-4 chapters, a group project, and a Finance Lab. Do yourself a huge favor by taking this man.

If you go to class, and do the homework everything else isn't all that bad. The tests can be tough but you get a cheat sheet for each test and all the quizzes.

Let me just tell you...I was terrified at the beginning of the semester because I have heard so many bad things about finance professors. But....Dr. Chang is the best finance professor in the department. He is a super nice guy and will try his hardest to give everyone the benefit of the doubt that not everyone is finance major. You have a few tests...which for each one you can use a "crib sheet" which is like a cheat sheet. Then you have a term project and a few quizzes. You have a little bit of homework but it's online and you can do it over and over until you get a 100. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chang.

Subject: Needs to go back to Temple U.  (Oct 27 2009, 11:05AM)

He comments a lot about how this class is a required class at Temple and he does not understand why it is not required at Ship. About the class, you will take a lot of notes, I mean a lot of notes. Basically, there is no discussion. Even if there was, what he says goes, so don't try to prove him wrong, especially about a test question. He will give about ten quizzes, five questions each. Also, there will be three exams. Make sure you do not waste time, because you will need every second. His tests are long and hard. The questions and answers are confusing. His answers consist of too many of the A&B, or all of the above. Overall, avoid Chang. He is not considerate or understanding of your questions. He will do his best to prove you wrong when you question him regarding confusing test questions.
