Crawley is a sweet guy and always willing to help you, he just doesn't understand why you don't understand what he is talking about. The homework is really easy and there are only a couple of tests. You might have to teach yourself most of the concept if you don't already know them because he doesn't know how to explain them, but overall he was a good teacher and I got all A's on my tests and 100's on my homeworks.

The class was a breeze. Online homewrk w/ unlimited do-overs. Tests were easy. Only reason I had such a low grade was because I always skipped to write Speeches for my Communication class later in the day. Easy class. Take him!

I thought Dr. Crawley was a good teacher especially since I suck at math. He was really nice and went over problems that you didn't understand all the time. The tests are reasonable with no surprises and the project is pretty simple. The only bad part was the book is really expensive and you don't even use it b/c book homework isn't graded but you still have to buy it for the online homework and attendance isnt mandatory but if you dont come to even 1 class you will be screwed for the rest of the year b/c he goes over so much info.

...as long as you take decent in-class notes. Use his notes as a reference compared to the textbook. He explains thoroughly and gives opportunities for Q&A.

Dr. Crawley is a wonderful prof. He explains everything in ways that are easy to understand and uses real world examples. The homework, which consisted of MyStatLab (an online program included with the textbook) and take home worksheets, was very easy. He teaches you the calculator-ways for everything, and you are allowed to use this on the test and the homework, which make the class a lot easier. Dr. Crawley is also very nice and does not subtract points for absences or participation. He takes attendance every day, so he can e-mail you the missed work/assignment if you are absent. All in All, Very nice man, great teacher, take him if you have the chance!

This class was a breeze. If you need a class to boost your GPA take developmental math with professor Crawley. It's like a refresher of the stuff you just got finished doing in high school!

Considering how hard math is for me, he really wasn't that bad. There are no surprises on the tests. The tests look exactly like the homework assignments he hands out and grades. Therefore, you know in advance if there is something you need to work on. He's not the best at explaining things though. So if you do take him, get a tutor...or at least find a good friend who's good at math and can help you out when you're confused. On the whole though, I've had much, much, much worse. He's a nice guy too and will help you if you can find him during his office hours.

Professor Crawley was a good teacher. He's amazingly understanding. He will help you out and really takes the time to answer your questions if you don't understand. Sometimes it seems like he might be a little to smart becuase he doesn't understand why you might not get it, but he's very patient. Although he's not very punctual.

I had Dr. Crawley for Calc II, and I loved him to pieces. He is the best math teacher I've ever had. At first, I thought he was really dry, but he's just kinda shy I think. Most importantly, he really knows his stuff, and he makes everything very easy to understand. Crawley could teach something in 15 minutes, so that the whole class would understand it, where it would have taken my Calc I teacher a week to kinda show our class what the heck he was talking about. If you need to take Calc II, definitely take Dr. Crawley.

We were allowed to ask questions on the homework questions in this class. I asked him to explain one of the question he had assigned for the previous night and he said "Oh that one is pretty hard, let's just forget about that one."

Professor Crawley knows his stuff, just don't expect him to be able to teach it to you. He walked into class everyday five to ten minutes late, then decided that he could keep up five to ten minutes after class. He told us that we can't complain to anyone about him since he's the "math chair." People would ask questions in class and he would start to answer them then digress off the subject. If you don't get a concept, he doesn't understand why. I remember plenty of times him saying, "What's wrong with you people?" or "If you didn't get this there must be something wrong with you." Not exactly a positive and enthusiastic role model for us up and coming teachers. If you do not have to take him.....DON'T!!!

Crawley knows his stuff...its just he does not know how to teach it. He looks at the board all class and really answers only one or two questions a class. He pulls no shit on his tests though...and he never collects homework unless he tells you the class before...He's fair, but he's a horrible person to try and start an intelligent conversation with. If you can learn on your own or through a tutor he is a good prof to take...but other wise stay away

Dr. Crawley presents information in an easy to understand way, but he is very boring. He does expect you to become an expert overnight at whatever you learned the day before. I asked him a question once and he replied, "But I talked about that in class yesterday." My photographic memory must have been on the fritz that day. His tests are fair, and he doesn't throw any surprise quizzes at you.

The subject was really easy. Homework wasn't hard and most of the time wasn't graded. He likes to use tricky wording on his tests sometimes so read the questions carefully. The major problem with crawley is that he is a picky grader. Don't have your hand-drawn graphs just the tiniest bit off, make sure you take all your numbers out to 5 decimal places, and whenever you are specifing a population make sure you write a paragraph. Oh and if you don't come to class he will just say stuff about you when you are not there. He acts like your wasting his money instead of your own.

I'd say its easy but that would not be completely true. He doesn't explain the course material well, so graded homework can drop your grade. Assigned homework every day and one course project (which is basically left to you on how you want to create). If you read the book and do the homework you can pull through. No big surprises on the tests.

If you already know your stuff, Crawley can be okay. He's a really smart guy, but as far as a teacher goes he's well under par. However, the problem with knowing everything is not having anyone to talk to about it. He just doesn't communicate well. So, if you're equally socially challanged, maybe you'll understand him, or if you just already know what you're doing coming into the class, then give him a try.
