Dr. Seibert is a great prof. I love how organized she is and she is always willing to help when you need it. If you are a responsible student you will succeed in her classes. Take her if you have the opportunity, you will learn a lot!

Dr. Seibert really knows her stuff, and what's even better is that she wants you to remember the stuff by applying it to real life. She explains and gives lots of examples to understand what the terms mean. There are 5 exams in her class but DO NOT FEAR!! Every exam is on just 2 chapters and that actually helps A LOT!!!!!! She gives a study guide of what you should know and that's what the exams are on. She's very nice, and great professor! I deff recommend taking her!

Some people think she can be rude, but I think she's only rude to the students who are constantly late, interrupting, texting, etc. Also, someone said she doesn't like when people ask questions. I don't think that's true at all. She generally likes people to ask questions, but I'll consent she has little patience for the completely useless/ridiculous ones, but who actually likes those? This class was sooooo easy, her study guides are a sure way to ace the tests. If it's not on the guide, it's not on the test. And most questions are worded the exact same way as on the guide.

Subject: Not bad at all  (Jan 11 2011, 04:04PM)

Her class was really straight forward. Take notes from power points and read the book. Write 1 paper about an article and take (usually) really easy multiple choice exams. Some of the questions were buried deep in the book, but the class was very doable. She's a very polite and helpful professor, especially if you show at least a slight interest in the material. Don't take if you can't at least fake a bit of interest.

I thought this professor was great at applying issues in the media to in class information. She was a little boring at some times but she is very knowledgeable. Her tests come right from the study guide. If it is not on the study guide, it is not on the test. There are in class activities that are an easy 100 points. Just go to class and you will do fine.

Personally I feel as though I didn't learn anything from her. She has her favorites and you know if you are one of them. At times I felt she got irritated when you asked questions. Also she teaches off of power points and goes too fast to the point you cant get everything down that you need and she wont send you the power points.

Seibert is a pretty easy professor.....we just had our first test and it was so easy. She gave us a study guide and said if its not on the study guide its not on the test, so when the test came along most of the questions were multiple choice. The options for the answers included the correct answer that was on the study guide and the other 3 weren't even on the study guide, so duh , if you look at the study guide you have a good chance at a good grade. Shes a pretty easy teacher
