His class was very easy as well as informative. As long as you have used Word, Powerpoint, or Excel before you should get at least a B. He showed a lot of youtube videos. Class could be boring but if you show up he gives you answers to questions that will be on the test.

Azim is by far one of the most awkward professors I have ever had in anything from anywhere. First rule sit in the front. Second, get to know him and make sure to visit during office hours for random chats. Third, sit back and help to teach the class. ISM 142 is not a hard class by any means, it is simply tedious, I have programming experience and I thought I had a lot of knowledge with Microsoft products; MyIT Lab proved me wrong quickly. If you ever have problems with the work, the tests, or even what is going on, Danesh with literally sit down with you in his office (if you can find a seat with all his paper work! hahaha) and help you work through it. He is one of my go to professors even if I have no idea when I'll have him again. Also, if you're up for a quest, find out his back-story of why he is a professor, he is quite the character and always gives me and amusing day.

The class is comprised of 3 tests and weekly sql homework. During the lectures in class, Dr. Danesh points out ALL questions and topics that will be covered in the tests during the semester. If you go to class, pay attention during lectures, and work hard to understand the information, the class will be easy!

Azim Danesh is one of the best professors at Shippensburg, period. You will actually learn what is being taught in the class. Not only will you learn it, but you will retain the information because of his teaching style. He also has a great sense of humor and you can't help but laugh when he calls the computer a piece of sh*t when it doesn't cooperate. You will have fun in his classes and you will get what you earn. Again, Azim gives each student what they earn. He told me the last day I had him as a professor something to the tune of: "If you deserve and A you will get an A. If you deserve a D you will get a D. If you get an D but earned a higher grade, that is being cheated. But don't cheat yourself saying you should get an A when you don't deserve it. That is cheating yourself as well." If you get the chance take Azim, because as much as I have said, you are cheating yourself if you don't have class with him.

Azim is the best professor ever..he's really cool, breaks down information so it's easy to understand. If you go to class he will give you answers to questions on the test. You have to do a couple assignments for each chapter but they are easy. If you want a cool teacher take him...I adored him!

He's funny and has a cool accent. His tests are long, but read over the notes from class and the chapter summaries and you're good to go. Moderate amount of homework but it's easy Excel and Word stuff right from the book. Take him..he's good

Subject: easy class, lots of busy work  (Jan 18 2011, 05:09AM)

The class itself wasn’t bad but he assigned a lot of busy work that consumes a fair amount of your free time. We wrote at least 3 pointless essays and I sat through many pointless classes. That being said, he's an understanding prof. that attempts to work with students and he was lenient on constructing a final grade.

The homework he gives is simple and he gives you ample time to do it. He'll even let you turn it in late if you talk to him about it. The tests on the other hand are difficult and some of the material on the test he doesn't go over in class, although most of the material he covers.
