Her class is easy as long as you pay attention, take notes and read the chapter. Her tests are all multiple choice so as long as you pay attention in class you'll be good. Professor Shearer is a great person she makes the class interesting and engaging and you learn a lot. I would recommend it for everybody.

Professor Shearer is my favorite professor this semester. Her class is so easy going, and the class becomes very close. She normally lectures by powerpoint, which she posts on D2L. in intro to human comm we had 3 written exams, which can be passed by reading the book and studying the lecture. You only have 2 major speeches. One informative speech toward the end of semester, and an group persuasive speech during finals week. both 20% of your grade. She gives you all of the resources you need to present a good speech, so you're not doing this on your own. She will help you as much as she can. She grades based on test scores, attendance, participation, and the 2 speeches.

She is always full of excitement and is always willing to help you. She is fexible with office hours and her class is easy if you pay attention. She gives you study guides and everything on the study guide is on the test. She does group projects but it is really easy. Point Blank take her.

She is a really good and effective teacher. She is nice, and her class wasn't really a drag. She does give a fair amount of work, but grades fairly, and overall, her class was pretty easy. I don't like speeches, but I never disliked her class (well sometimes). Only thing I didn't like is that she put us in the same group the whole semester, so I really didn't get to know anyone other than 5 people. However, I think she might not be teacher here much longer so... good luck if you can manage to get her.

Her class is very easy, the only homework is reading. You are required to give 2 speeches and do a group project. You WILL lose points if you miss more then one class!!!
