Her tests were the only problem... I had trouble taking them. I studied from the book and did the practice questions from the book's website. Those questions were usually always on the test. She keeps the class interesting all the time. She's fun and really sweet. I would deff take her again if she is teaching a course I need.

She's so nice. One of my favorite teachers I've had so far here as a freshman. She gives 5 tests that are not hard at all, all you have to do is some studying beforehand. No big assignments, usually 1 for each test, and there's only 5. She curves tests too if the class doesn't do well overall. She's so sweet and very down to earth. Take her!

She is so adorable, I loved this class. It was an hour and 15 minute class but it seemed to go pretty quickly. She has the cutest British accent and she teaches the way I think a college prof should. She expects you to do the reading...which isn't much...and goes over the main points. The tests are challenging but there's never anything unexpected. So take her :]

Dr. Devlen was a perfect college teacher.... she had power points to share, and she had videos to show students. She also had small little activities that were pretty neat for students to get involved. She has a few 15 point assignments which were pretty easy to get through, and the paper for her class was very easy (earned an A on that). The only issue I had with her class were her exams. I myself would take notes from the book before going to her class, so then during class I would know what and who she was talking about (which was very helpful). I also studied (making flash cards) and also took the online quizzes on the book's website (she had some of the questions from there on the exam); but no matter what I felt positive on the exams and getting the grade back I did horrible. No idea what went wrong in my studying but I could never do good on the exams. But she is worth taking for Psychology... I will recommend her!
