Dr. Freeman is great!! He's funny and understanding. His classes are interesting most of the time. His examples are easy to comprehend and apply. There are extra credit opportunities on most of the exams...you don't need to read for it...just guess and you may get it right. I really recommend this prof for any CRJ course he offers. He is not ridiculous...only FAIR. Take notes and study...that's it! GOOD LUCK!

Class:"Myths" (B-)

Policy, Professionalism, and Ethics should be called Criminal Justice Myths. That is the basic jist of the course. Dr. Freeman basically follows the book to a "T", along with adding his own real world experiences, having you read an outside article or two, and is not shy about letting you know when he thinks the author is feeding you bull shi*. My only problem with the course is that your grade is based on only 3 100 point tests (multiple choice and T/F); 2 during the semester, and the final exam. If you do not do well on these exams, you will not do well in the course. There are no assignments, no class participation, no attendance policy, and no grading curve. Read the book assignments well. He has specific questions on the test, such as statistics. Sometimes he lets you know which ones will be on the test.
